Shiv Hospital

Our place, Shiv Hospital, is located in the Samany Basti area, right near the Shardha Bhawani Mandir Tower Line. We’re also part of the Raja Shivshatrapati Housing Society. It is a bit of a mouthful of an address, being in Shardha Bhawani Mandir Tower Line Samany Basti Raja Shivshatrapati Housing Socity, but locals know exactly where we are. We’ve been here serving the housing society for a good amount of time. The hospital is not a big glass building. It is a simple, functional structure that fits into the neighborhood. Inside, we have a few consultation rooms and a space for patients who need to stay longer. The benches in the waiting room are made of wood and can be a bit hard if you’re sitting there for an hour, but they do the job. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just some old health posters and a clock that’s a few minutes fast. The staff is mostly from around here, so we talk to everyone in the local way. It gets busy during the fever season, and sometimes we have to ask people to wait their turn outside if it gets too packed. We don't use any high-tech systems for everything; a lot of our notes are still written by hand in big ledgers. It’s just how we have always done things. We are here if you need a check-up or if something is wrong. No big promises, just a local hospital doing its work.
