Shirke Engineering & Fabrication Co. Private Limited

If you head down to the F II Block in the MIDC area of Pimpari, you’ll find us at Shirke Engineering & Fabrication Co. Private Limited. It’s a pretty standard industrial setup, nothing too flashy to look at from the outside. We’ve been operating out of this part of Pimpari for a long time now, and we’ve seen the whole area grow up around us. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with scraps of steel and various tools lying around, but we know exactly where everything is. Our day starts early, usually before the traffic on the main roads gets too bad, and we stay until the job is done. There is always a lot of grinding noise and the bright flash of welding torches going on inside the unit. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write glossy brochures; we just focus on the fabrication tasks at hand. Some days are harder than others, especially when we have a big order that needs to get out the door, but we manage. The guys here have been doing this for years, so they have a lot of practical experience with the machines. We mostly talk about the work and what needs to be welded next over our lunch breaks. It’s a plain, straightforward business where we focus on the metal and the machines in our F II Block shed. We just keep our heads down and work.
