Shelar Hospital And Icu

The hospital is tucked away in Khanda Colony. It’s actually quite close to Mahatma School, so we hear the bells and the kids playing during their breaks. Having an ICU here means things can get pretty serious sometimes. It’s not just a regular clinic where people pop in for a quick chat. We spend a lot of time monitoring machines and checking on people who are staying over. The building isn’t the newest one in the colony but it serves the purpose. Most of us who work here live nearby or have been in this area for years. You get to know the families around Khanda Colony after a while. Sometimes people come in just because they live two streets away and saw our sign. We keep the place clean and functional. There’s a lot of walking back and forth between the beds. It’s a busy environment but we try to keep it organized. The school traffic in the mornings makes it a bit hard to find a spot to park, but usually, by ten, it clears out. We don’t have any big corporate banners or anything. It’s just a local hospital doing what hospitals do. Most nights are quiet unless there’s an emergency. We just take it one day at a time here. That’s how it’s always been since we opened up in this part of town, just doing the work that needs to be done.
