Sharma Plastic

Sharma Plastic is located over in Katraj, specifically near the 1st Cross Kalasipalya area at Sr No 33. The address is a bit of a mouthful with the Patang Plaza and Trimurti Chowk references, but basically, we are right there in Phase II. It is a cramped space because plastic products take up a lot of room even if they are light. We have bags of raw pellets stacked up near the entrance and finished containers piled high in the back. The machines hum constantly, which makes it hard to hear the phone sometimes. We mostly deal with local businesses and people who need bulk items for their shops. The air always feels a bit warm because of the heaters on the injection machines. We spend most of the day moving crates around and making sure the molds are clean. There is a small office area partitioned off with some plywood, but we rarely sit in there unless we are doing the accounts. Most of the time, we are on the floor checking the quality of the pieces coming off the line. The street outside is always crowded with people heading toward Trimurti Chowk, so getting a delivery truck in and out can be a real headache. We usually try to schedule the big pickups for early morning before the traffic gets bad. It is a simple operation, nothing too fancy, just making plastic goods day in and day out without much fuss or any unnecessary noise.
