Shantanu Industries

Shantanu Industries is based in Sameer Plaza, right at Thermax Chowk in Chinchwad. We are in the Sambhaji Nagar MIDC area, which is pretty much the heart of the industrial zone around here. It’s unit number 4. The area is always buzzing with the sound of machinery and trucks moving in and out. Our place is a bit oily and loud, but that’s expected in an MIDC unit. We’ve been here since the plaza was relatively new. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves. It’s not a place for sitting around. We are usually on the floor making sure the machines are running right or checking the parts that come in. There’s a small office space in the corner where we handle the bills and orders, but we don’t spend much time there. The heat can get pretty intense during the summer months, but we have some big fans that keep the air moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Chinchwad. We just want to do our part and keep the orders moving out on time. Most of the guys working here live nearby in Sambhaji Nagar. We know the other business owners in the plaza, and we help each other out with tools or advice when things break down. It’s a tough environment, but it’s what we know. We just focus on the work. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done every day.
