We operate out of Jay Ganesh Vision in Akurdi, specifically in unit A-112. We are situated near Greaves Co, which is a well-known spot in the area. Our shop is full of bearings of all sizes. They are stacked in boxes from the floor to the ceiling. It’s a narrow space, so you have to be careful where you walk. We’ve been selling bearings for many years now. It’s a very specific kind of business. People come to us when they need a part that they can’t find anywhere else. We spend a lot of time looking through catalogs and checking measurements with calipers. It’s precise work even if the shop looks a bit cluttered. We aren't into big marketing campaigns. Most of our customers have been coming to us for a decade or more. They know we have what they need. Akurdi is a good place for us because there are so many factories and repair shops nearby. Sometimes we get a bit of grease on our hands, but that’s just part of the job. We have a small desk where we do the invoices, but mostly we are on our feet. Quality Bearing Co. isn't a big corporation, it's just us and our shelves of steel parts. We like the rhythm of it. It’s a steady business and we know our stock inside out. We just keep things moving, quite literally, with the bearings we sell.
