Nrb Bearing Ltd is located over at Tapasvi Plaza in Akurdi, specifically at 5/13/14/15/16 in the plaza. It’s a bit of a larger space than some of the other shops around here because we need the room for all the stock. Even though we are in a plaza, it’s still a very hands-on environment. You can usually find us counting inventory or checking labels on boxes. Bearings are one of those things you don't think about until you need one, and then it’s the most important thing in the world. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving crates around and making sure everything is where it should be. The office part of the unit is small and mostly just for paperwork. We don't have fancy furniture or a coffee bar. We just have desks and a lot of filing cabinets. It gets a bit hectic when several deliveries arrive at once, and the hallway gets blocked up for a bit. We try to be quick about it so the other businesses in the plaza don't get annoyed. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure people get the parts they need without too much fuss. Most of our day is spent talking to regular customers and local mechanics. It's a decent spot to be, and we try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can.
