Shankar Road Lines

Shankar Road Lines is based over at Bhosale Arcade in Sakinaka. We’re in shop number 3. If you know the Dapodi area, you know it’s always moving. This place is mostly about trucks, schedules, and keeping things on the road. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and checking on where everything is. It’s a small office, nothing special to look at. Just some chairs, a big desk, and a lot of logbooks. The noise from the street is always there, but you get used to it after a week or two. We started this business because we knew the roads and we knew how to move things. It’s not easy work. There are always delays or things that go wrong, and we just have to fix them as they come. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. It’s just us doing the daily grind. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use torches to finish the paperwork. It’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve built up a lot of regulars over the years. They know where to find us in the arcade. We’re not looking to become a giant corporation. We just want to keep the trucks moving and make sure everyone gets their stuff. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until late. We don't mind the dust or the long hours much.
