Shaikh Hospital

Shaikh Hospital is located at 114 Ganesh Peth. It’s an old building in an older part of town, so it has a lot of character. We aren’t a massive hospital with hundreds of beds; we are a smaller facility that handles the needs of the Ganesh Peth area. The hallways are a bit narrow and the floors have been walked on by thousands of people over the years. We do our best to keep everything running smoothly, but it’s a busy place and things can get hectic. We have a dedicated staff, but we are all just regular people working hard. There’s no corporate management team here, just doctors and nurses who live in or near the community. You can hear the sounds of the street from some of the rooms, which is just part of being in this neighborhood. We deal with all sorts of medical cases every day. Sometimes we have to send people elsewhere if it’s too complicated, but we handle a lot right here at number 114. The waiting room is often full, and the benches are a little worn down. We don't spend much on decorating because we put our resources into the actual care. If you come to Ganesh Peth, you’ll see our sign. It’s been there for a long time. It’s a local hospital for local folks, and we just keep doing our work day after day. It’s a simple building but we do a lot inside these walls.
