Shah Bali Chand Manik Lal

Our place, Shah Bali Chand Manik Lal, is located at Plot No. 191 in Bawani Peth. We are right opposite the Central Bank, which is the easiest way to tell people where to go if they’re lost. Bawani Peth is a busy area, full of trade and people moving things around all the time. We’ve been at this plot for a long time now. The building is old but sturdy, and it’s served us well enough. Most of the day is spent handling orders and talking to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here, even if we’re all busy with the heavy work. Being across from the bank means there’s always some activity on the street outside. We deal with various goods, and the inventory can get quite stacked up inside the warehouse. It’s not the neatest place in the world, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the traffic in front of Plot 191 makes it hard for the trucks to park, but we always figure it out. We don’t have a website or any of those modern things. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. It’s a simple way of doing business that hasn’t changed much over the decades. We like the familiarity of the neighborhood and the people who live and work around Bawani Peth. It just feels like home to us after all this time.
