Sayli General Stores

Sayli General Stores is located in Wagholi, not too far from S V Road. It’s a neighborhood shop where we sell all the daily essentials like rice, flour, and household cleaning supplies. The store is packed from floor to ceiling, so sometimes it can be a bit of a squeeze when there are more than three people inside. We have big bins of pulses and grains sitting near the entrance. Most of the time, it’s just me and one other person working here, stocking the shelves and weighing out items for the customers. We’ve been in this spot for several years, and we’ve seen the area grow quite a bit. There are more apartments now, which means more people coming in for their weekly groceries. We keep a small radio playing in the background to keep us company during the quiet hours in the afternoon. The fridge in the corner is always buzzing, keeping the milk and cold drinks chilled. We don't really do anything special; we just make sure we have what people need when they run out of something at home. If someone needs a particular brand, we try to get it in for them the next time the distributor comes around. It’s a steady job and we enjoy the daily routine of opening up and seeing the regulars stop by. We usually stay open until the street lights come on and everyone has gone home for their dinner.
