Saxena, Surendra Prakash

I’ve been working out of Shanta Sadan in Malleshwaram for a good number of years. It’s on the 10th A Main, right near the 6th Cross. If you know the area, you know how tight the parking can get around Kumar Aengan. I mostly handle paperwork and talk to people who come in with their various problems. It’s just me and a small desk, really. The office isn't much to look at, just a few filing cabinets and a computer that’s seen better days. My neighbor in the building often complains about the stairs, but it’s a solid old place. People come by for advice or to get documents sorted out. I try to stay organized, though my desk usually has a few too many folders on it at any given time. Malleshwaram has changed so much since I started, but this corner stays pretty much the same. I take my tea break at the same time every afternoon. Sometimes I stay late if there’s a lot of typing to do. It’s quiet work, mostly. I don’t have a big staff or anything like that. Just me doing the job. I’ve lived around here long enough that most of the shopkeepers recognize me. It’s a decent way to spend the day, helping folks figure out their taxes or whatever else they’ve brought in that morning. I hope to stay here for a while longer.
