My place is at number 310 in the Ganeshmala area, specifically within the Tarundeep Market on Oerlock Road. If you are standing in front of Om Market, you just look across the road and you will see our building. The market is always packed with people buying and selling stuff, so it can be quite a scramble to find parking nearby. My office is just a simple room where I handle my daily business. It is nothing fancy, just a few wooden chairs and a big desk where I keep my records. I have been working out of this spot in Tarundeep Market for a long time. You get to know all the other shopkeepers and the regulars who walk by every morning. We often share news about the market or just complain about the heat. The room stays a bit dark because the building is old, so I usually have the overhead lights on even during the day. I deal with a lot of paperwork and people coming in to discuss various trade matters. It is a practical environment. There are no paintings on the walls or carpets on the floor. It is just a place to get work done and then go home. Sometimes the noise from the Oerlock Road traffic gets quite loud, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get through the market area. But it is the life of the market, and I have grown quite fond of the chaos here.
