Santosh Electric Stores

Santosh Electric Stores is located at 4/953 in Shirur. It’s a traditional kind of shop where we sell all sorts of electrical goods. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time, and the shelves are packed from the floor to the ceiling. You can find everything from light bulbs and wires to switches and small appliances. It’s a bit of a squeeze when there are more than two customers inside, but we make it work. Shirur is a place where people value things that last, and we try to stock items that won't let them down. We spend our days answering questions about which wire is best or how to fix a broken socket. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning the glass counters. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing; we just rely on people walking by or hearing about us from their neighbors. The shop is a bit dark inside, but we know exactly where every little screw and fuse is kept. It’s a very hands-on job, and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift. We open up early because that’s when the local contractors like to come in. It’s a simple, busy life, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We’re just a regular part of the Shirur market, doing our best to help whoever walks through the front door.
