Sant Sawata Hospital

If you head down the Pune Solapur Road towards Hadapsar, you’ll find Sant Sawata Hospital in City Plaza at Sr No 84. This part of Pune is always moving, especially with all the trucks and cars on the main road. Being inside a plaza means we have neighbors like shops and offices, so there’s always people walking past our door. It’s a bit of a walk from the main entrance, but it’s easy enough to find once you’re inside. The hospital isn't huge, but we have enough room for what we need. The walls are a light blue color that we picked out ourselves a few years ago. It’s starting to fade in some spots, but it still looks okay. Our staff mostly comes from the Hadapsar area, so we understand the local way of talking. We have a small desk at the front where one of us is always sitting, usually sorting through papers or talking on the phone with a supplier. We don't go in for fancy medical jargon when we talk to people; we just explain things simply. Sometimes the lift in the plaza gets stuck, so we tell people to take the stairs if they can. It’s good exercise anyway. We’ve been part of the City Plaza community for a while now, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we’re still here doing our thing every day. It’s a steady life.
