Sankalp Hospital

Our hospital, which is called Sankalp Hospital, is located at 1076 Shukrawar Peth in the Subhashnagar area, right near Hirabaug Chowk. It’s an older part of the city, and our building fits right in with the neighborhood. We aren't one of those shiny new glass buildings you see in the suburbs. We are a local hospital where people from around Shukrawar Peth come when they have a health issue. The halls are narrow and we have been here long enough that we know most of the shopkeepers on the street. Every day is a bit different; some days are quiet and we spend time catching up on paperwork, and other days it feels like everyone in Pune is trying to get in at once. We have a dedicated team of nurses and ward boys who keep the place running. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just rely on the fact that we've been here for years and people know we do our job. There’s a certain rhythm to life at the hospital, from the shift changes to the delivery of medical supplies in the afternoons. We try to keep things simple and honest. If someone needs help, we see what we can do for them. It’s a straightforward way of operating, and it seems to work for the people who live in this part of town.
