Out here in Midc Ranjangaon, things are always moving at Sanjay Techno Plast Pvt Ltd. We are located near the Gram Panchayat, specifically at F/16/17. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but this is where the industry is. The machines run for long shifts and the sound of plastic molding is something you hear all day long. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling the crates and the raw materials we use. We make a lot of different plastic items, mostly for other companies that need parts for their own products. It is not a quiet office job. There is a lot of heat from the molders and we have to keep the ventilation going so it stays breathable. We have a small team here and most of us have been working together for years. We know the machines better than we know our own cars. Sometimes the trucks arrive late for pick-up and we have to wait around drinking tea until everything is loaded up correctly. It is hard work, especially in the summer months when the shed gets really warm. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on getting the orders finished and making sure the dimensions are right. It’s a basic setup but it works for us and the people we supply to. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch, but that is just part of the factory life.
