Sandvik Asia Ltd

We are located in the Nigdi area of Pune. It is a busy part of the city with a lot of industries and factories around. Most of us have been working at Sandvik Asia Ltd for quite some time now. You get used to the noise from the road and the rhythm of the machines nearby. The gates open early and the shifts start before the sun gets too high. There is a small canteen where we grab tea in the afternoons. It is not a fancy place, just a workplace where things get done. Some days are busier than others when shipments go out or when we have inventory checks to finish. The pincode 411 012 covers a good part of this industrial belt. Traffic can be a bit of a mess during the evening rush hour when everyone is heading home towards the city center or the suburbs. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. It is a long walk from the main gate to some of the back sections of the facility. The trees inside the compound provide a bit of shade during the hot summer months. Most people around here know where we are since we have been in Nigdi for years. We do not have any big signs or flashy stuff, just the standard building and the usual gate security. It is a steady place to be, and we just focus on doing our jobs.
