We are Bharat Forge Ltd and we operate out of Pune. Since the address is just listed as the company name and city, it’s hard to give you a specific landmark, but we are well-known in this industrial hub. Pune has always been our home base. The city is full of factories and workshops, and we are just one of the many that keep the gears turning. Our day starts early, usually before the sun gets too high and the heat becomes a problem. The workshop floor is always busy with people moving around and the sound of heavy machinery. It’s a lot of physical work and the air usually smells like grease and hot metal. We don't have a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is more about the grit and the daily grind. Most of our staff have been living in the local colonies for years. We eat our lunches together in the shade when we can find it. Sometimes the rains in July make the commute a bit of a mess, but we still show up. It isn't a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. We don't go around telling people how great we are. We just let the work speak for itself when it leaves the gate. That’s how things are done here in Pune. There is a small shrine near the entrance where people light a lamp every morning before they start their shift.
