Sancheti Hospital

We are located way up on the 4th floor of the College of Hospital Management building in Shivaji Nagar. It is a bit of a different setup since we are actually inside the college premises. You have to take the lift or the stairs to get all the way up to us. Being on the 4th floor means we are tucked away from all the street noise of Shivaji Nagar, which is actually quite nice for the patients who are resting. It feels a bit more like a learning environment here because of the college students nearby, but it is a fully working hospital space. We have our wards and our administrative offices all laid out on this one level. The staff here often works alongside the students, so there is always a lot of energy and movement in the corridors. It is not exactly a silent place, but it is very productive. We have got the usual hospital beds and all the basic equipment you would expect to see. The view from our windows is mostly just the other rooftops and trees in the area. We do not have a fancy lobby with a fountain or expensive chairs. It is just a clean, functional floor where the daily work happens. People come here because they know the name and they know we are part of this big educational hub. We just focus on the daily rounds and making sure everyone is looked after well enough.
