Our workshop is up on the first floor at Gala No. 59 within the Morya Sahakari Audhyogik Vasahat. We are located in the M.I.D.C. Bhosari area, which is pretty much the heart of the manufacturing zone around here. Being on the first floor means we have to haul everything up, which can be a bit of a workout when the material arrives. The space is used for making various small components, and we’ve squeezed in as many machines as we could while still leaving room to walk. It’s a cooperative industrial estate, so we have neighbors doing all sorts of different work in the units next to ours. You can hear the hum of industry through the walls all day long. We don't have a lot of office space, just a desk tucked into a corner where we handle the bills and the phone calls. The windows are usually open to let the air circulate, and you can see the other industrial units across the way. We take our tea breaks at the little stall down on the ground floor, which is where everyone from the building gathers to talk. It’s a hardworking environment, and we just try to keep our machines running smoothly and get the daily production done on time. There’s always a bit of oil on the floor and a stack of crates waiting by the door. We aren't doing anything fancy, just standard component manufacturing.
