Our place is tucked away in the S Block of Bhosari, specifically at W 62. If you know the area, we are right on the 8th Main Road, near the 17th Cross. Indiriani Chowk is the big landmark nearby that everyone uses to find us. It’s a typical industrial neighborhood where everyone is busy making something or fixing something. The shop isn't very big, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. We’ve been here for a good bit of time, watching the shops around us change while we stay the same. The dust from the road comes in sometimes when the wind picks up, so we’re always wiping down the counters. Most of our day is spent talking to people who drop in looking for specific items or just checking on their orders. We don't do much in the way of decoration; it’s mostly just shelves and the stuff we sell. The walk from the chowk is short, but the road gets crowded with bikes and delivery vans in the afternoon. We usually have a radio playing in the background to break the silence when it’s not busy. It’s a steady kind of life, just keeping the shop open and helping out the folks who come through the door with their requirements. We just take it one day at a time here, making sure the shelves are stocked and the door is open on time.
