Sakuntala General Stores

Sakuntala General Stores is right across from Srinath Plaza in Pune. If you know Dnyaneshwar Paduka Chowk, we are just right there on Morden College Road in Shivaji Nagar. It is a very busy part of the city. Lots of students from the college pass by every day. We opened this shop because we wanted something of our own in this neighborhood. The store is packed with all sorts of things, maybe too many things sometimes. We try to keep the aisles clear, but it is a small space and we have a lot of stock to fit in. Shivaji Nagar is a nice area, even if it gets crowded. Being at the 411005 pin code makes it easy for people to find us. We spend most of our time behind the counter. My brother helps out when he can, and we just manage the daily flow of customers. It is not always easy, especially when several people come in at once and everyone is in a hurry. But we have gotten used to the rhythm of the street. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it is quiet. The shop has been here for a bit now, and we know many of the faces who walk through the door. It is just a regular general store, nothing more. We do our work and go home. That is how it goes at Sakuntala General Stores. We do not have a big team or fancy office.
