Sai Beauty Parlour

We’ve been at Akashdeep Apartments for quite a while now. It's on Barister Gadgil Street in Sadashiv Peth, right near Lakshmi Krupa Hall. If you know Pune, you know this part of town gets busy, especially with the events at the hall. Our place isn't fancy or anything. It’s just a regular parlour where people come to get their hair done or a quick threading. I usually open up in the morning and wait for the regulars who live in the nearby buildings. We have a small sign outside. Sometimes the traffic on the road is a bit much, but inside it stays relatively quiet. Most of our customers are women from the neighborhood who just want a decent service without paying those mall prices. We use the space we have in Survey No 800 to keep everything organized. It’s a lot of work keeping the towels clean and the mirrors wiped down, but that's just how it is. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Pune. We just like being here in Sadashiv Peth where we know people by name. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s slow. The area has changed a lot over the years, more cars and shops now, but we are still here doing the same things every day. It’s a simple business and we try to do a fair job for anyone who walks through the door. I hope people feel comfortable coming in here.
