Sahil Opticals Contact Lens Clinic is located right there on Ashok Society Road, very close to the Kalewadi Phata in Chinchwad. It is a busy little area with a lot of foot traffic. We have the shop set up with all the different frames on the walls and the testing equipment tucked in the back room. It isn't a massive clinic, just a local spot where people from the society and the nearby blocks come when they need their eyes checked or a new pair of glasses. We see a lot of the same faces over and over again. Working with contact lenses takes a bit of patience, so we spend time sitting with people showing them how to put them in without blinking too much. It is funny how nervous people get about that the first time. The road outside can get noisy with all the traffic heading towards the phata, but inside the shop it is usually calm enough to focus. We keep the shelves stocked and try to stay organized, though some days the files really pile up on the counter. We are not part of some big national chain or anything like that. It is just our place here in Chinchwad. We open up the shutters every morning and see who comes through the door. Sometimes it is just someone needing a screw tightened on their frames, and other times it is a full exam. We just take it as it comes.
