We are based at 131 Nigdi Vikas Commercial on Bhakti Marg. It’s a decent area with plenty of shops around us. We handle a lot of packing jobs for people moving their homes or small offices. Our day starts early, usually before the sun gets too hot, so we can get the heavy furniture down the stairs. Nigdi is where we operate from, and Bhakti Marg is a familiar street for most folks around here. We’ve got a small team, just a few guys who know how to wrap a fridge so it doesn't get scratched. It isn't always easy, especially when someone lives on the fourth floor with no lift, but that’s just part of the job. We keep a lot of old newspapers and corrugated sheets in the shop to wrap up the fragile items. You won’t find any corporate talk here. We just talk about which truck needs oil and how many boxes we need for the next house in the colony. Sometimes we take a break for tea at the stall nearby and then get back to it. Moving is a messy business, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We’ve been at this Nigdi location for a while, and we just keep doing what we know how to do, one box at a time.
