M Tel Mobile Shop

M Tel Mobile Shop is a small place in Sadashiv Peth. If you know the area, you know how crowded and narrow the streets can get. We are mostly surrounded by other small shops and old buildings that have been here for decades. Our day is basically just fixing cracked screens and trying to figure out why someone’s phone won’t charge anymore. We have a lot of boxes piled up in the back and the counter is always covered in tools, magnifying glasses, and tiny screws. It’s not a fancy showroom with glass cases. We just have some plastic cases and chargers hanging on the walls for people to see. People from the neighborhood drop by to ask questions about their gadgets or just to chat while we work. Sometimes we can fix things right away, other times we have to wait for a specific part to come in from the distributor. It gets quite hot in the shop during the afternoon because the fan is old and doesn't move much air. We don’t have a website or a big advertising budget to speak of. Most people just walk in because they live nearby or someone told them we could help with a broken phone. We’ve been here for a while now and we know most of the regulars by name. It’s a lot of squinting at small parts and talking to customers all day long. We close up once the street starts to quiet down.
