Since we are part of the nursing institute, there is always a lot of energy from the students who are learning the ropes of the profession. You’ll see them in their uniforms heading to classes or coming over to the clinic area to get some practical experience with real patients. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, finding your way to room 602, but there is usually someone around to point you in the right direction if you look lost. Tadiwala Road is a busy area, and Sangamwadi has its own unique character and pace. The clinic itself is focused on being a practical space for both learning and patient care. It’s not a luxury setup by any means. We have the basics covered and we focus on the task at hand. The desks are a bit old, and the paperwork can get a bit messy during a busy shift, but the medical work is what matters most to us. We have a lot of different people coming through, from the students themselves to locals from the Sangamwadi area. It’s a place where education and healthcare kind of meet every day. We don’t have a big marketing team writing our stories; we are just the people who show up here every morning to work and teach.
