Rohit Road Carrier

Rohit Road Carrier operates out of the Shivneri Complex, which is at Survey No 1087, Block No 01, on the Shirur Tank Road. We are right there on the Pune Nagar Road in Ranjangaon Ganpati. Since we are so close to the highway, we see a lot of action day and night. The sound of heavy engines is something we hear all the time. Our office is a basic unit in the complex. It is where we coordinate all the truck movements and keep track of the cargo. The area around Ranjangaon Ganpati is quite busy because of the industrial belt and the temple, so there is always a mix of pilgrims and transporters moving about. In our office, you will see maps of the state pinned up and a lot of registers filled with handwritten entries. We don't use much fancy software; we prefer the old-fashioned way of keeping records in books. It can get pretty dusty with the wind blowing off the road, and we spend a fair bit of time just cleaning off the desks. We have a small bench outside where drivers sit and talk while they wait for their paperwork to be ready. It’s a very practical environment. There are no corporate slogans on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a photo of the local temple. We just focus on the work and making sure things get from one point to another.
