It is a decent spot out in the Pune district where there is still plenty of farming going on. The house is a plain building that serves as our headquarters. We aren't a big operation with hundreds of employees; we are just a small team trying to make the agro business work. Shirur is a place where you really see the seasons change, and our work changes with them. Some months we are incredibly busy, and other times it is just a lot of waiting and planning. We keep our supplies in the back and use the front room for our office work. It gets pretty dusty when the wind picks up, and the road can be a bit bumpy, but it is home for us. We spend our mornings checking the latest news about the markets and then head out to see what is happening in the local area. There is no dress code here, and we often have tea with whoever stops by to talk shop. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and try not to get too ahead of ourselves. Being in Wadgaon keeps us close to the people we work with every day.
