Our place is located in the Aslam Compound over in Baner Gaon, specifically at 273/4 in Shree Nagar. It’s tucked away a bit, so people sometimes miss the turn when they first visit us, but we like it there. We deal with various goods that come and go through our doors every day. Most of our time is spent sorting through shipments and checking the paperwork to make sure everything is where it should be. It’s a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from moving heavy boxes to talking to the delivery drivers who stop by. The compound can get pretty crowded when there are a lot of vehicles trying to turn around in the narrow space. We’ve been here for a bit now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It isn't the quietest spot, especially with the construction going on nearby, but we get our work done regardless. We don’t really do any advertising. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to us for years. The office part of the building is small and mostly filled with old files and desks. We keep a kettle going for tea because the mornings can be slow before the first truck arrives. Sometimes we have to wait around for late deliveries, which can be frustrating, but that’s just part of the business. We keep the doors open when it’s hot to catch a breeze.
