Our facility is located at 134/1 on RC Dutt Road in the Koregaon Bhivar area. Working at Rieter (India) Pvt Ltd means being part of a large operation that deals with textile machinery. The site is pretty big, and there is a lot of movement throughout the day with trucks and supplies coming in and out. It’s an industrial part of town, so you see a lot of other factories and warehouses around us. Inside, it’s mostly about the engineering and the assembly lines. We have a lot of different departments working together, from the people on the shop floor to the ones in the offices handling the logistics. The commute out to RC Dutt Road can be a bit long for some of us, but once we get here, the day goes by fast because there is always something to do. We focus on the technical details of the machines we produce. It’s a lot of metal, wires, and precise parts. The air usually smells a bit like oil and machinery. We don't really have a lot of visitors who aren't here for business, so it’s a focused environment. People just go about their shifts, wearing their uniforms and following the safety protocols. It’s a solid place to work if you like seeing how things are built from the ground up. We’ve been operating here for a good while and it has become a steady routine.
