Renata Precision

Down in Bhosari, at our unit J/526 in the Deonar area, you’ll find us at Renata Precision. The shop floor is usually pretty loud with the sound of machines running and metal hitting metal. We do a lot of precise work here, which means we spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and measuring things down to the last millimeter. It’s not the cleanest environment because of the oil and the metal shavings, but that’s just how a workshop is supposed to look. We’ve got a small crew and everyone knows their role. We don't spend money on fancy offices or leather chairs. Most of our budget goes into keeping the machines in good shape. Bhosari is a tough, industrial place and we fit right in. Sometimes the heat in the shed gets to be a bit much in the afternoons, so we take short breaks to grab some tea from the stall down the road. It’s a lot of manual labor and technical thinking combined. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and we know all the other shop owners on our block. We don't make big promises or use fancy words to describe what we do. We just take the raw materials and turn them into whatever part is needed. It’s a steady life of grease, noise, and hard work, and we are quite content with the way things are going at J/526.
