Reflection Interiors

Dhayari has changed a lot lately, and we’ve been here at C 3 for a good chunk of that time. We do interior work, mostly focusing on what people actually need for their homes rather than just making things look like a magazine. Our space is usually full of wood chips and fabric swatches. It’s not a showroom where everything is perfect. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get built. Most of the guys here have been working with their hands for years. We spend a lot of time measuring and then re-measuring because houses here never have straight walls. It’s frustrating sometimes but that’s the job. We have coffee in the mornings and then get straight to the cutting and assembly. People stop by to check on their cabinets or just to see what kind of plywood we are using this week. We don't use fancy computer programs for everything; a lot of it is just drawn out on paper first. It feels more real that way. The traffic around Dhayari can be a nightmare for deliveries, so we usually try to get the trucks in early. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting boards and fitting hinges, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just the one that gets the cupboards to shut right. It's just a local place doing regular work for people in the neighborhood.
