3Dmagic is based over in Satavwadi, Pune. We’re in Flat No 3 of the Chordiya Bldg, which is part of Sainagar. It’s a regular residential building, so it’s not like walking into a big office complex. You have to go through the main entrance of Chordiya and find us on the ground floor area. Being in the 411028 area of Maharashtra, we’re a bit away from the main city center, which is fine by us. It’s quieter and easier to get work done. We’ve set up our equipment in the flat and it’s become our little hub for all things 3D. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of projects going on at once, but we make it work. The neighborhood is mostly families and local shops, so it feels very lived-in. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you’re basically walking into where the work happens. It’s an honest way to run a business. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby. We just focus on the screens and the models we’re building. Pune is a great city for this kind of stuff because there are so many creative people around. Even out here in Satavwadi, we feel connected to that. It’s just a small team in a flat, doing our best with the tools we have.
