Ravi R Rathod

Ravi R Rathod is the name on the door at number 16 along the Pune Satara Road. This isn't really a shop where you walk in to browse through items on a shelf. It’s more of a personal workspace where I handle my day-to-day business. The room is quite small, just enough for a desk, a couple of chairs, and some steel cupboards where I keep my files. Pune Satara Road is a major route, so there is a constant rumble of vehicles outside. Sometimes the whole building feels like it’s vibrating when a heavy truck goes by. I’ve been in this spot for a while now. The paint is starting to peel a bit near the window, but I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. I usually start my day with a cup of tea from the guy who has a cart a few doors down. Most of my work involves sitting at the desk and making calls or writing things down. It’s not a fancy corporate office with a receptionist or a coffee machine. It’s just me and occasionally a helper if there is a lot of work to do. People who need to find me usually know where I am, so I don't need any big advertisements. It’s a quiet way to earn a living despite all the noise from the highway.
