Ramkrishana Hari Pushpbhander

If you ever go through the Jagannath Complex in Chinchwad, you’ll probably find us there. Ramkrishana Hari Pushpbhander is basically a local flower shop. We deal with all kinds of flowers for every occasion you can think of. Our mornings start very early, way before most people are even awake, because that is when the fresh stock comes in. The shop is often filled with the smell of marigolds and roses, which is a nice way to spend the day. We do a lot of garlands for the local temples and flowers for weddings or just small bunches for people to take home. It’s a simple business, but it keeps us very busy. The Jagannath Complex is a central spot, so we see a lot of regulars who stop by on their way to work or when they are running errands. We don't have a fancy setup, just some buckets of water and tables where we sit and tie the flowers together. Sometimes we have a lot of help during the festival seasons when everyone wants flowers at once. Other days it is just us sitting in the shop, waiting for the next customer to walk through the door. We’ve been in Chinchwad for a good while and we like being part of the community here. It is just about providing fresh flowers to our neighbors whenever they need them for their homes or ceremonies. We just like what we do.
