M K Decoraters is based out of 742 Rohidas Society. We are located near the police station on Madhya Marg in the Parvati area. Our space is mostly used for storing all the gear we need for our work. There are stacks of poles, bundles of fabric, and crates of lights tucked into every corner. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. Being near the police station means the area is usually pretty orderly, though the main road can get quite loud. We are often out on-site, but when we are here, we are checking the inventory or repairing stuff that got damaged at the last job. The society is a friendly place and we know most of the people living around us. It’s a local operation, nothing too big or complicated. We use a small van to move our things around, and parking it can be a challenge on Madhya Marg. The work is physical and we are often tired by the end of the day. But there is a certain satisfaction in seeing all the pieces come together. We don't have a receptionist or anything; usually, it's just one of us answering the phone while trying to move a heavy box. It’s a basic setup that works for us. We’ve been part of the Parvati community for years now and just keep doing our work.
