Our shop is at 639 Ganesh Peth, right on the main road. It’s a busy spot with people always walking past. We sell all sorts of plastic items, things like buckets, containers, and household stuff. The shop is narrow and deep, so we have to stack things pretty high to fit everything in. You’ll see towers of chairs or bins if you walk inside. It’s been here for years, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're usually too busy to get around to it. We get a mix of people—some looking for just one bottle and others who want to buy in bulk for their own small businesses. My family has been doing this for a long time. We know where every single item is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. There’s no air conditioning, so we keep the front door wide open and have a big fan behind the counter. It gets dusty from the traffic outside, but that’s Ganesh Peth for you. We don't do fancy packaging. You pick what you want, we wrap it in some old newspaper if needed, and that’s it. It’s a basic, honest shop. We like the regulars who stop by just to chat for a minute before buying their supplies. It is a simple way to make a living and we have been at it for decades.
