Rajmudra Architects

We’ve been over here at Market Yard in Breach Candy for a while now. Specifically in the A3 4 block. It’s a busy spot, always something happening outside the window. As Rajmudra Architects, our days are mostly filled with drawing up plans and checking on how things are actually getting built. It’s a lot of back and forth between the desk and the sites. Sometimes the weather makes things tricky, especially during the rains, but we keep at it. People come in with ideas for their homes or shops, and we try to figure out how to make that work within the space they have. It isn't always easy. There are building codes and all kinds of rules to follow in Mumbai. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at CAD files. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized with all the blueprints lying around. It gets a bit cluttered during big projects. Breach Candy is a good area though. You get used to the noise after a while. Most of the time we are just focused on getting the measurements right so there are no surprises later on. If you’ve walked past the A3 building, you’ve probably seen us coming and going. It's just a regular team here working hard to finish the designs on time for everyone.
