Rajashree Electricals

The shop is over in Hadapsar at Survey No 174. It’s right there in the Ravikamal Datta Smruti building on Saswad Road, specifically in Bhekarai Nagar. We’ve got Rajashree Electricals set up here and it stays pretty busy most days. You’ll find rolls of wire and different kinds of switches all over the place. The fans are usually humming because it gets a bit stuffy in the afternoon. People from the neighborhood come in when their lights flicker or they need a new fuse. We spend a lot of time untangling things and checking circuit boards. Sometimes we have to go out to someone’s house because their wiring is a complete mess and it takes a while to find the fault. It’s not a glamorous job but it is necessary. The traffic on Saswad Road can be loud, especially during the rush hours, but we just get on with the work. We keep a diary of all the jobs we have to do and it’s always filling up. My hands are usually a bit dirty from grease or dust by the time we close up for the night. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just basic electrical work that keeps the power running in the local homes. If you walk past Bhekarai Nagar, you can't miss the place. It's just a regular shop where we fix things and sell what’s needed for the house.
