Radhika Art And Boutique

We’re located in New Emerald City South, which is near United Park in the Kharadi area of Pune. Radhika Art And Boutique is our little space. It’s a mix of a workshop and a shop. We have fabrics everywhere and sketches pinned to the walls. Kharadi has grown so much lately, and being near United Park means there are always families and people walking around. We started this because we liked making things by hand. It’s not a big corporate store where everything looks the same. Every piece we have here has a bit of a story. We spend a lot of time on the details, even if it makes the work take longer. Some days the boutique is full of people trying things on, and other days it’s just us sewing in the back. We have a few assistants who help with the stitching. It gets a bit messy with threads and scraps on the floor, but that’s how it goes. People in the New Emerald City complex are our main customers. We don't do big fashion shows or anything like that. We just like it when someone finds a dress or a piece of art they really like. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We just keep creating new things and keeping the shop open for whoever drops by. It’s a nice little corner of Pune to be in.
