R N K Enterprise is based at A-15, right across from the T T College in the Vaiduwadi area. Even though the address says Pune Solapur Road, we are actually situated in the Andheri East part of the city. It’s a busy industrial zone with a lot of trucks and workers moving around all day. Our unit is a bit basic, with high ceilings and a lot of metal shelves. We spend most of our time organizing shipments and making sure the inventory is correct. It’s dusty work, and the noise from the nearby road never really stops. We started this business with just a small amount of stock and it has grown a bit since then. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of our business is done over the phone or with people who come directly to the warehouse. We keep a small kettle in the corner for making tea when we have a break. The staff here is small, and we all know each other’s families. We don’t have a big corporate structure or HR department. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out and fix it. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big delivery arrives late in the afternoon. We just stay until the job is done. It’s hard work, but it keeps us going and we appreciate the people who continue to work with us every day.
