Pyramid Hospital

We have been operating Pyramid Hospital for quite a long time now right here on Kurkum Road. If you are coming from the main Sahakar Chowk, you can’t really miss the building, although it looks like a lot of the other ones around here. It is a plain structure with some grey and white paint that has seen better days. The traffic outside is always loud, with rickshaws and trucks constantly passing by the chowk, so there is always a bit of a hum in the background. Inside, we have several floors. The stairs are a bit narrow, so people usually prefer the lift, even if it gets stuck once in a while. We don’t have a fancy lobby with marble floors; it’s just regular tiles that we mop down every morning. There are rows of blue plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait to see someone. Sometimes it gets really crowded and people have to stand near the door. The nurses are usually busy running back and forth between the wards. We’ve got some old fans that rattle a bit when they are on high speed. It isn't a quiet place, but it's where the local families come because we’ve been here for so long. We just focus on getting through the day and helping whoever walks in from the street. It’s a busy, noisy, and very ordinary hospital that serves the Sahakar Chowk area as best as we can.
