Pushpak Constructions

Down in Sadashiv Peth, over at Chinchwad Gaon, you’ll find us at 1002/4. Pushpak Constructions is the name on the board, but we’re just a bunch of local guys who know how to build stuff. This area is quite old and has a lot of character, which we like. Our office is a bit tucked away, so you have to look for the number 1002. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s more of a place where we keep our tools and sit down to have some tea while we look at the week’s schedule. We do a lot of small-scale building work around this part of town. Sometimes it’s a house repair, other times it’s something bigger. The traffic in the Gaon can be a bit of a headache in the evenings, but we’ve lived here long enough to know the shortcuts. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most of our work comes from people just seeing us on a job and asking for help with their own place. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. My boots are usually covered in some kind of mud or cement by the end of the day. We don't worry too much about looking polished. As long as the walls are straight and the roof doesn't leak, we’re happy with how things are going. It’s just honest work in a busy neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and work.
