You can find Pune City Eye Hospital over in Camp, specifically at Bharat Arcade on Gen Thimayya Road. We’re right there at Office No 3, pretty much opposite Poolgate. Being on the main road makes it easy to find, though traffic can be a nightmare around here during rush hour. The clinic isn’t huge, but we have the equipment needed for eye exams and things like that. Usually, the waiting room has a few people squinting at the magazines while they wait for their drops to work. It’s a bit of a walk up if the lift is acting up, but it usually works fine. We see a lot of people coming in for new glasses or because their vision is getting a bit blurry with age. The front desk gets pretty hectic with the phones ringing constantly. Camp is a busy area, so there’s always noise from the street coming in. We’ve got the charts on the wall and those big machines you put your chin on. It’s a practical setup. Sometimes we run a bit behind schedule if a consultation takes longer than we thought it would. That’s just part of how it goes in a medical office. We try to keep the chairs comfortable at least. It’s a straightforward place. If you need your eyes checked, this is where we are, right across from Poolgate. We just do our work and help people see a bit better.
