We have been doing this work out of Koregaon Park for a long time now. Our place is located at 29 Kssidc Industrial Estate, which is on Mysore Road. If you know the area near the German Bakery, we are just a short walk from there. Moving house or shifting an office is basically what we do every single day. It is usually quite heavy work, lifting big boxes and moving furniture from one flat to another. We see a lot of people coming and going in this part of town. Sometimes the traffic on Mysore Road gets really jammed up, so we have to plan our trips very carefully to avoid getting stuck for the whole afternoon. We have our own trucks and a small group of guys who have been with us for many years. They know how to deal with the narrow stairs and tight corners in some of the older buildings around here. It is not a very fancy job, but we just get on with it. We keep all our packing materials like the bubble wrap and the brown tape at the industrial estate. Most of the time, we are out on the road anyway. People get a bit stressed when they see their entire life packed into cardboard boxes, so we try to just be steady and get the job finished without making a big fuss. The industrial estate is a bit dusty, but it works for storing the gear. We started small and just kept at it.
