Protek Instruments

Our place is on Barake Lane in Somwar Peth, right near the Pushpanjali Lodge. It’s a busy part of Pune, and finding a parking spot can be a real headache some days. Protek Instruments has been tucked away in this lane for quite some time now. The building is older, and the rooms have those high ceilings that keep things a bit cooler in the summer. We spend our days surrounded by various tools and measuring devices. It’s a lot of precise work, so we try to keep the noise down, even though the street outside is always humming. We aren't a big corporation with departments for everything. It’s mostly just us handling the orders and making sure the instruments are in good shape. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about what needs to be finished before the weekend. We know the other shop owners on the lane, and there's a good sense of community here. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone just tells a friend about us, and that’s how we get most of our work. It’s a steady pace, and we like it that way. No one is in a huge rush to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do right by the people who come to us. We’ve been here long enough that it feels like home now.
