Prompt Trading Company

We are located at City Centre in Camp, which is usually a very crowded place to be. Prompt Trading Company actually takes up two spots here, Shop No . 9 & 20 City Centre. It means we are constantly walking back and forth between the two units to check on stock or talk to someone. Being at 930, Synagog Street means we are right in the thick of it. The street is always full of people and scooters, especially in the evenings. It can be a real headache to find parking, so we usually tell people to come early or walk from the main road. The shops themselves are a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so we spend a good amount of time cleaning the glass counters. We’ve been in this building for a while, so we know all the other shopkeepers around us. We share news and sometimes help each other out when things get busy. Trading is just about keeping track of what people want and making sure we have it ready. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the power goes out, which makes things difficult in the heat. But we manage. We aren't trying to be anything huge, just a place in the middle of Camp where you can get your items. It’s a long day, but we like the energy here.
