Working out of Aundh near CP Tank 17 keeps us pretty busy, especially when the temperature starts climbing in the summer. We spend most of our time dealing with air conditioning units of all shapes and sizes. It’s a lot of climbing ladders and getting our hands dirty with dust and grease from the filters. The workshop is usually a mess of copper pipes and refrigerant canisters, but we know where everything is. We handle the basic stuff like cleaning and gas filling, but also the bigger jobs when a whole system decides to quit working in the middle of a heatwave. It’s a lot of driving around to different homes and offices in the Aundh area. Sometimes we get stuck in traffic near the tank, which can be frustrating when you have three more houses to visit before dark. We aren't a big corporation; it’s just a few of us who know how to work a wrench and read a pressure gauge. We try to be fair about things and just explain what needs doing without making it sound more complicated than it is. Most people just want their room to be cool again, and we understand that. We keep the shop open late during the peak months because that’s when everyone needs help. It's a tiring job but seeing a customer relax once the cold air kicks in makes it worth the effort.
